On Sunday, October 9, the new "Kleiner Wäller Vital-Parcours" was opened by the Rhineland-Palatinate Minister for Economic Affairs & Tourism, Daniela Schmitt. Well over 100 guests were welcomed at the joint ceremony of the three local communities of Rengsdorf, Hardert and Bonefeld. The circular trail has a length of 2.4 km. It can be extended by a further 3.8 km via various access routes.
High-quality sports, play and fitness equipment, including explanations, has been installed along the trail by the Stilum company from Kleinmaischeid. This includes balance beams, slacklines, calisthenics equipment and various multifunctional trainers for muscles and cardio. As the equipment and routes are varied, athletes as well as families with children or senior citizens can find something to suit them.
Official starting points are located in Rengsdorf at the K104 hiking parking lot, on the outskirts of Hardert and at the Deichwiesenhof in Bonefeld.
