The local municipality of Ehlscheid has installed an e-bike charging station at the spa park. Here, cyclists can use the barefoot path and the water treading pool or visit the restaurants while charging.
The village and local history association contributed to the purchase with a donation of 500.00 euros. The battery charging station has four compartments for charging four bicycle batteries and four cell phones. You can store your own chargers and batteries in one of the four locked storage compartments. The storage compartments can be locked with an electronic combination lock.
Cell phones can be charged via a 3-in-1 plug on a USB charger. A bicycle parking space has been installed in front of the charging station.
