In the municipality of Rengsdorf-Waldbreitbach, all first-grade pupils receive a different kind of school cone at Easter. The Wiedtal Tourism Association has put together information about the local area for all 292 of this year's first-graders.
In the information packs, the children and their parents will find tips for excursions in the Wiedtal and Rengsdorfer Land, cycling and hiking trails and a coloring book. The bags also contain Westerwald nature experiences and maps of the Rhine-Westerwald Nature Park. The distribution campaign takes place every year during the Easter vacations.
The aim is to familiarize primary school pupils with the nature-related offers in their home region, but also with tourism in general and to offer ideas for excursions.
