The Wiedtal Tourist Association has put together an information bag about the local area for all pupils in Year 1 in the Rengsdorf-Waldbreitbach municipality. In it, the children and their parents will find tips for excursions in the Wiedtal and Rengsdorfer Land, walking (hiking) trails throughout the Westerwald and the new coloring book. The bags also contain Westerwald nature experiences and bee pasture seeds from the Rhine-Westerwald Nature Park. The distribution campaign takes place every spring to familiarize the first-graders of all elementary school with their home region and to offer ideas for excursions.
