Guest honors at the Neuerburg campsite, Niederbreitbach

Four people stand and smile by a rustic wooden fence in a garden. An older man in a hat and vest stands at the left, while three adults stand behind the fence. Greenery and a small potted plant fill the scene.

Unfortunately, the guest ceremonies at the Neuerburg campsite in Niederbreitbach for the past two years had to be canceled due to the coronavirus. However, they have now been held in a slightly different setting than usual. The board of the Niederbreitbach Tourist Association visited the jubilarians personally on their pitches and presented them with certificates and gifts. The Wiedtal Tourist Association contributed information packages including a hiking map and bear drink.

A total of 34 families were honored for their many years of loyalty, ranging from 10 to 50 years. The picture shows the families Paul and Bärbel Schmitz with the 1st Chairman of the Niederbreitbach Tourist Association, Kurt Hardt. Last year, the Schmitz family celebrated their 50th anniversary at the Neuerburg recreation area.
