The Hotel-Restaurant Strand-Café in Roßbach / Wied reopened on Sunday, October 15. The new tenants are the Thomas family, who have already run a hotel in the Bergisches Land region for many years. The cuisine will be predominantly Greek. The Panorama Restaurant offers 80 seats, the winter garden another 70 seats. In summer, there will also be a sun terrace directly on the River Wied. The Strand-Café is therefore equipped for conferences and celebrations of all kinds. The 21 hotel rooms are ideal for hiking groups, vacation guests and business travelers. The hotel is located directly on the Wied cycle path and the Wiedweg also runs through the grounds. The WesterwaldSteig, the Häubchen-Tour and other local hiking trails round off the offer. Local mayor Thomas Boden, 1st alderman Jörg Gries and Florian Fark from the Wiedtal Tourist Association congratulated the opening.
