
The new RadBus Wiedtal (line 131) will be running between Roßbach / Wied and Neuwied from April 1, connecting the Westerwald with the banks of the Rhine. All RadBuses can be booked up to 2 hours before departure at www.radbusse.de. Interested parties can also purchase their tickets from the bus drivers, provided there are still seats available. Passenger tickets are also required. These can still be purchased directly on the bus, via the transport association's apps or in the DB Navigator. The RadBuses can also be booked by calling the hotline on 01806 - 723287.
Bicycle transport for adults and young people aged 14 and over costs 3.00 euros, and 2.00 euros for children under 14. The online reservation fee is 2.00 euros per 5 bicycles. When booking by telephone, there is an additional service charge of 5.00 euros per booking. In addition to the one-way ticket, the Deutschlandticket is also valid as usual for passengers.
The RadBus runs five times an hour on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays and has space for 20 bicycles. The first trip departs from Roßbach at 9:10 am. The first trip from Neuwied departs at 10:03 am. Electric bikes can be transported on this line. A bike adventure map will be available from the Waldbreitbach Tourist Information Office from the end of March.
