Diverse, educational and right on your doorstep: The Rhine-Westerwald Nature Park, together with the Dierdorf Forestry Office, has presented the new annual program "On the trail of nature". Those responsible kicked off the new season at Paganetti's Inn in Verscheid.
The focus of the event was on thanking the many cooperation partners.
The 1st Chairwoman of the Nature Park, Princess zu Wied, the 2nd Chairman District Administrator Achim Hallerbach, the Head of the Dierdorf Forestry Office Uwe Hoffmann and the Managing Director of the Nature Park Irmgard Schröer paid tribute to the commitment of the numerous players whose efforts make such a broad program possible in the first place.
The annual program of events is wide-ranging and quickly makes it clear that local nature is anything but monotonous. In addition to classic hikes, the program invites you to take themed excursions - for example on geology, herbs, Roman history or the local wildlife. Young explorers are also well catered for with special offers and varied vacation programs. Specialist courses and events on climate change and sustainability round off the offer. There is a particular focus on environmental education.
The annual program is available free of charge at the tourist information office and at www.naturpark-rhein-westerwald.de.
