Renovation of the Waldbreitbach Tourist Information Office

A traditional half-timbered building with white walls and dark beams serves as a tourist information center. There are parked cars, a bicycle, greenery, and a bright blue sky with scattered clouds.

The tourist information office in Waldbreitbach has been extensively renovated and refurbished by the local community. The guest room is now brighter and more spacious and has a modern area for brochures and souvenirs. A large screen is available for guests next to the bar. The entrance area has been made completely barrier-free with a ramp and an automatic door. Outside, there will soon be a rest bench, an e-bike charging station and storage facilities for bicycles. In addition, a digital information terminal is already available opposite the tourist information office, where guests can find out about events, available rooms or hiking trails outside of opening hours.

The reopening had to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and is planned for spring 2021.

You can reach us by phone and email Monday to Friday from 9:00 - 12:00.

The renovation was funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture of Rhineland-Palatinate, which is responsible for tourism, and by LEADER funds.
