Tourism association informs primary school pupils about their homeland

Two men stand indoors, each holding a box filled with striped folders. One man wears khaki clothing, the other a blue jacket. Backpacks and bags hang on red hooks behind them. A childs drawing is displayed on the wall.

The Wiedtal Tourist Association has put together a package with information about the local area for all pupils in the 1st and 2nd grades in the Rengsdorf-Waldbreitbach municipality. In it, the children and their parents will find tips for excursions in the Wiedtal and Rengsdorfer Land, walking (hiking) trails throughout the Westerwald and the new coloring book. The bags also contain event tips for the upcoming Easter vacations. The campaign will be repeated every year from now on to familiarize primary school children with their home region and offer ideas for excursions.
