Wäller tours once again awarded by the Hiking Institute

The two Wäller tours Iserbachschleife and Klosterweg in Wiedtal and Rengsdorfer Land have been certified for a further three years. The 20.8 km Iserbach loop around Anhausen, Rüscheid and Thalhausen and the 18.2 km Klosterweg between Rengsdorf and Waldbreitbach have been classified as "premium trails" by the German Hiking Institute.

The markings and signposting are exemplary and still guarantee that the paths can be found safely in both directions. "We would like to thank the volunteer trail patrons Wilfried Dietz for the Iserbach loop and Liane Viebahn, Christine Mehnert and Ulrich Schmitz for the monastery trail. Also to the municipalities and foresters who provide active support along the routes," says Florian Fark, Managing Director of Touristik-Verband Wiedtal e.V..

The Iserbach Loop has now gained a significant 70 experience points. Decisive factors for this are the expanded public transport connections, two improved viewpoints near Isenburg and the commitment of the Thalhauser Mühle as a nature enjoyment host with regional products. The Klosterweg achieved 69 points, the same as last time. Here too, the new public transport service was praised with information on site and on the website as well as route markings.

Both trails were inspected by Manuel Andrack during the course of the year. He is known as a presenter, speaker and author, especially in the outdoor sector. He certifies hiking trails throughout the country on behalf of the German Hiking Institute.
