The Waldbreitbacher Junggesellen are pleased to announce that after a three-year break, "Wied in Flammen" will finally take place again on 19.08.2023. The fireworks will return this year with a combined laser and light show as a hybrid show even more spectacular than it ever was.
The bachelors have unanimously agreed that Wied in Flames, as a show steeped in tradition in the central Wiedtal, should remain the trademark for the bachelors and the whole of Waldbreitbach.
In the course of this, the budget for this special show was significantly increased by the bachelor club as the organizer. The main focus was on the signs of the times and a new concept for Wied in Flames was developed with the fireworks experts, with whom the club has been working successfully for many years.
As a result, it was decided that the fireworks would be launched at a lower height, but would be accompanied by an integrated show of laser and light effects. As usual, a coordinated selection of music will round off the whole show musically and amaze the crowd. These measures will significantly minimize the risk of forest fires and thus ensure that the event can continue to take place safely in the future. It will also reduce pollutant emissions and make the whole event more sustainable.
This unique new image of the hybrid show only unfolds its full effect on the event site on the idyllic banks of the River Wied. In the run-up to the event, the band "Pop nach 8" will once again provide musical entertainment for all visitors on the raft in the middle of the Wied right from the start of the evening.
As usual, the FALC-Immobilien festival tent in Waldbreitbach will be located next to the mega event on the Wied promenade for the entire third weekend in August. As the main act, the tribute band "Still Collins" will perform the classics of Phil Collins and Genesis live, bringing the festivities in Waldbreitbach to a special end on the Monday of the fair.
Advance sales for Wied in Flammen and the concert on August 21 will start soon. You can save one or two euros by purchasing individual tickets and combination tickets in advance.
