Digital nativity scene trail through the Waldbreitbach Christmas village

A handcrafted Nativity scene made from dried maize leaves, with figurines and a wooden stable, next to a ceramic sculpture of an embracing family and informational placards in German.

As is well known, the Waldbreitbach Christmas Village is not a fenced-in village of huts, but the entire village is decorated with Christmas attractions, lighting and, above all, numerous nativity scenes. The great advantage of the current situation is that all the attractions are spread out in the village in the fresh air. They also all remain set up until the last Sunday in January, which helps to equalize the flow of visitors. This means that there are no further restrictions or guidelines for visitors.

Nevertheless, the organizers have come up with an innovation: from now on, the nativity scene trail can also be visited digitally. A new nativity scene will be presented every day on www.weihnachtsdorf-waldbreitbach.de so that all nativity scene lovers who are currently unable to visit on site can also enjoy it.
