The tourist information office in Waldbreitbach rents out two very special e-bikes for guests and locals alike: bamboo bikes from the MyBoo brand. These are produced together with a social project in Ghana. It takes 80 hours of manual work to create truly unique bikes with a particularly comfortable ride. The final assembly takes place in a factory in Kiel. They are as stable as steel, as light as aluminum and as comfortable as carbon. The local service partner is Chaco GmbH in Dernbach, where these bikes can also be purchased.
The reliable trekking e-bike provides support with a powerful 85 Nm of torque. And with a 504 Wh battery, even long distances are easily achievable. The range is rounded off with a suspension fork, disc brakes and extensive accessories. The 48 cm and 52 cm sizes are available.
The rental fee for one day is €29.00 per e-bike, 3 days cost €69.00 and each additional day costs €15.00. There is an online booking option at www.wiedtal.de to reserve the bikes in advance.
