The Hotel-Restaurant Waldterrasse in Rengsdorf has once again been awarded 2* stars by the German Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA). All criteria of the German Hotel Classification were checked in advance by cbg GmbH, a subsidiary of DEHOGA.
The classification is always valid for three years, so the hotel has now been reassessed according to the current criteria. To be classified in one of the five internationally valid categories, minimum criteria must be met and minimum scores must be achieved. According to the results of guest surveys, the criteria are adapted to market requirements, thus ensuring that the assessment criteria are consistently aligned with guest wishes.
The Hotel Waldterrasse is located directly on the RheinSteig and has been welcoming guests to Rengsdorf for over 60 years. The adjoining restaurant always impresses with changing specials, with game, chanterelles and pan-fried rösti currently on the seasonal menu. The Runkel family, pictured Gabriele and son Andreas Runkel, are proud of the renewed award.
