Wäller Tour Iserbachschleife scores as a premium trail

Three people stand in front of a misty, ancient stone ruin surrounded by tall trees and greenery, with soft sunlight filtering through the fog.

The Wäller Tour Iserbachschleife has been awarded "Premium Hiking Trail" status by the German Hiking Institute for a further three years. The markings and signposting are well maintained in both directions. With 66 experience points, the result has improved even further compared to previous years thanks to some new information boards. Fallen trees cannot be avoided after such dry summers, but are always removed promptly thanks to the attentive helpers or tips from hikers.

Special thanks go to trail warden Wilfried Dietz and the neighboring local communities, forest rangers and volunteers. The Iserbach loop runs for 20.8 km around Anhausen, Meinborn, Isenburg, Thalhausen and Rüscheid. It can also be divided into two shorter circular routes via a connecting path.
